Coaching is a form of development in which an experienced person called coach supports a learner or client in gaining clarity about life. To move forward and achieve their goals and desired state. This process involves implementation through various tools and techniques, deep questioning, and application of different modalities. I prefer the word Coachee for a learner as in a coaching process.
How is Coaching different from Mentoring, Consulting, and Therapy ?
Coaching is a process of questioning and feedback. The sole purpose of coaching is to facilitate the growth of a client. It is done by regulating the client’s capabilities and resources into self-generated change and action. This way a client moves forward from point A to point B towards their goal.
This process encourages and supports you in a way that you :
- Discover, gain clarity about your main goal
- Find Self generated solutions and strategies
- Grow in responsibility and accountability
- Become aware of existing resources/options
- Know what actions do you need to take next.

The Key value that separates coaching from mentoring and therapy is that a coach acts in equal partnership with the coachee.
Their is no pre-conceived cognitive bias and advice giving. This enables the coachee to develop their own capability and resourcefulness.

Over my last few years of working with people across the globe, I’ve realised a great deal. That people have all the resources they need, not to mention the most potent one as their mind. Step 1 : Discovery session

We discuss all your life areas, where you’re stuck, what is holding you back and where do you want to go !!
Step 2 : Coaching sessions
A series of weekly coaching sessions. It is both vital for accountability and tracking your progress.
Consistency and commitment is the key. Transformation takes time, and evolution takes more.
These sessions work as a safe environment for you to discuss and shift your energy. With each session comes clarity and you move towards your goal.
However this is not therapy, so you must be willing to take 100% responsibility for your growth since inception till eternity. Because motivation does not last longer, dedication and discipline does.
