“What is now proved was once only imagined.”
– William Blake
Everything we’ve created, was incubated in our mind first, then manifested in a physical form to this world.
The physical world is a reflection of the non-physical consciousness.
Imagination is the ability of our mind to create the permutations and combinations of what we perceive or have ever perceived.
It is through this capability of our minds, that we are able to find solutions, create something that was never present in the physical world, or destroy something beautiful. Although every destruction is the cause of creation, and every destruction is an effect of continuation of something that was once created.
But nothing great is possible if no-one ever imagines something. It is not simply by chance or by luck that we are where we are in our lives or with the people we have with us. Everyone of us, at some point consciously or subconsciously have imagined/thought of it in our past(a delusion created by our mind).
Maybe we’ve not imagined ever with such great details, but this is where our subconscious plays its part. It fills the gaps with possibilities of details where our imagination lacks.
This is the reason why, the people having great detail in their imagination achieve what they imagine. And people with less detail in their imagination achieve somewhat similar or unclear manifestation of their imagination.
Because when there’s detail in our imagination, there’s less space to fill the gap, and consequently less work for our subconscious. So these people are clear in what they want. And achieve what they want.
On the other hand those with low imagination capability, are not clear about the ways and create unspecified results.
But imagination does not knows right and wrong, it’s task is to simply create possibilities. It is our conscience that discriminates right and wrong.
Our conscience is a part of our cognitive process that is created through what we’ve perceived through our 6 senses ( eyes, nose, ear, tongue, skin and mind ).
And as in the beginning I shared that imagination is capability of our mind to create the permutations and combinations of what we perceive or have ever perceived. So whatever we imagine is an effect of our ability to perceive.
And in the middle I shared how our subconscious is the cause of creation of what we’ve imagined.
Therefore, we can deduce that imagination is really our best creation.
Imagination is also a tool that creates chaos and violence when used by a fool. Imagination can create wonders when used by a wise person.
One can argue on this statement, stating the fact that imagination it doesn’t discriminate between right and wrong. So what difference does it makes, if a fool use it, or a wise person.
The difference lies in the nature of content of imagination, that solely depends on the tendencies of a person which are dependent variables of his past experiences, beliefs, thought patterns and decisive capabilities.
